Tipped-in leaf from the Polycronicon, rubricated in red (a nice, ful-margined, complete leaf with one small spot of wax). Caxton’s printer’s device on title page & front cover. Edition limited to 297 copies, printed by Edwin and Robert Grabhorn. Tan linen over decorated brown boards, paper spine label, plain paper d.j. Small leather bookplate on front pastedown.
