Each day we offer a Theodore Roosevelt related item.

At the 1912 Republican Convention in Chicago many legitimate Roosevelt delegates, won through the first Presidential primary elections in US history, were not credentialed or seated. Eventually Taft was renominated but severely damaged as a sitting President and candidate for reelection. The Progressives also held a Convention in Chicago and nominate Theodore Roosevelt for President on the Progressive "Bull Moose" Party ticket. Roosevelt proved to be the spoiler in 1912. Wilson's election was all but assured when the Progressives ran TR, but it proved to be closer than expected. Roosevelt actually came in second in that election, he outpolled the sitting President, Taft, by nearly 650,000 votes. Roosevelt & Taft outpolled Wilson by 1.3 million votes.
Below is a description of an actual unused ballot from that 1912 Presidential Election from the State of West Virginia. Email us for a picture if interested.

We offer the following postpaid and net to all @$175.00;
