IRVING, John. 3 BY IRVING: SETTING FREE THE BEARS, THE WATER-METHOD MAN,
THE 158-POUND MARRIAGE. New York: Random House, (1980). First Edition.
INSCRIBED and boldly SIGNED on the front blank by the author: "To Mike:
good luck with your novel----- John Irving." Near Fine in a Near Fine
dustwrapper. (#017353) $125.00

IRVING, John. THE WORLD ACCORDING TO GARP. New York: E. P. Dutton,
(1978). First Edition. National Book Award winner, made into a
successful film. INSCRIBED "For Charlie" and boldly SIGNED on the half
title page by the author, quite uncommon as such. Irving's signature,
unfortunately, like Capote's and a few others, is often forged so what
appear to be bargains are usually costly mistakes. Very Good in a Near
Fine dustwrapper. (#017352) $500.00
