New Edition. Ten volumes. Octavo, uniformly bound in contemporary 
blue calf over marbled paper boards, spines with raised bands, titled 
and decorated gilt in compartments, marbled endpapers, top edges 
gilt. Various editions, but all dated 1896 and advertised as the 
'Cheaper Issue of the Library Edition of Mr. William Morris's 
Poetical Works, Complete in Ten Volumes'. Woodcut vignette on title 
pages of five volumes by Sir Edward Burne-Jones. Leather a bit chafed 
at extremities and with some small scuffs to the spines, gilt a bit 
dull in spots, slight split to rear hinge of the first volume; 
handsome bookplates of William John Robertson on front paste-downs of 
each volume. Overall, a very good set, sound and attractive.         $500.00
