[Bible in Amharic]. [MANUSCRIPT] COPTIC BIBLE. [Ethiopia]: n.d. [18th c.]. 98 lvs. Thick 8vo. [8 x 7 inches]. Wooden boards backed in brown morocco, ruled in black and blind. Written in Amharic in a Ge'ez script, lettered in red and black. Includes various passages of the Christian Bible: Prayers and Songs of David, Prayers of Moses, the Survivors of Babylonian Captivity, the Prayers of Elias. Last 21 leaves double column. A few leaves repaired, a small excised circle with loss of a few words, some dampstaining on the last few leaves, rear joint split with loss of leather, spine partially exposed, later stitching to head and heel of spine. New York residents please add appropriate sales tax or forward a tax id number. Libraries and Institutions can be billed. Trade allowance. Postage for Domestic orders is $5.00 for the first book and $2.50 for each additional volume. Books are normally shipped Media Mail. For international orders, postage is  calculated individually. All books may be returned in original condition for any reason within two weeks with prior notification.
