First Edition. Second Printing of the first book by a former U.S. 
president to address young readers. Illustrated with photographs. This 
copy with The Carter Center bookplate on the front endpaper SIGNED 
"Jimmy." In addition on this copy Carter has added his last name in a 
different ink to the bookplate and INSCRIBED it at the top: "Phyllis, we 
love you--" dated 3/94. This is comedienne Phyllis Diller's copy with 
her SIGNATURE on the half title page. Light foxing to text block edges.
