Profusely illustrated with fine copper plates of animals and 3 folding plates (240 of 265 plates, all 7 volumes complete). Orig. full tree calf, spines ornately gilt with a red morocco label, bound by “Scott. Edinburgh” with his label. A few spine extremities rubbed, but quite nice.    $750.00 (trade discount allowed)
Translated by William Smellie. This Edinburgh edition had 8 volumes published in 1780 and a 9th volume in 1785.
