(4),84pp. Plus an added engraved color printed title page, a frontispiece, and 44 plates (many printed in color), each plate with a facing leaf of description. Also illustrated with numerous text woodcuts. Finely bound by J. Larkins in 19th c. 1/2 red morocco, elaborately gilt tooled spine, over marbled boards. T.e.g. Minor rubbing at tips, otherwise a fine copy. Inscribed on a preliminary blank by Lord Londesborough (to Charles Greville?). Numerous marginal pencil notations that appear to correlate the illustrations with when those objects had come up for auction (1860s-1904). $1,000.00 (trade discount allowed)
