Frank B. Goodrich: The Tribute Book : A Record of the Munificence, Self-Sacrifice and Patriotism of the American People during the War for the Union. Illustrated. New York: Derby & Miller, 1865. Presumed first edition. Tall, massive 8vo (28 cm) in original publishers pebbled leather elaborately decorated in gilt; 512 pp.

Profusely illustrated by Thomas Nast (who executed the ornate half-title page) and others. A tribute to the war efforts of the Sanitary Commission, the National Freedmen's Relief Association, the American Union Commission and numerous smaller regional bodies, the Missouri Fund, fairs, raffles, etc. Binding with rubbing and wear to the joints  and corners and a few modest stains; contents toned at the edges, with some generally light damp-staining to the margins; otherwise a clean, solid copy, securely bound.
