fairgrounds inside cover. Views include: Palace of Fine Arts, Educational
and Social Economy Palace, Machinery Building, Palace of Mines and
Metallurgy, Palace of Electricity, &c. Gives the dimensions of the
buildings in feet and the cost of erecting them, for example: Palace of
Mines and Metallurgy, 525 by 750 feet, nine acres of exhibit space, cost
five-hundred-thousand dollars; &c. The historical text lauds the New St.
Louis, with views of Union Station, St. Nicholas Hotel, Planters Hotel,
Boatmen's Bank, Mermond Jaccard Building, Customs House and Post Office,
City Hall, &c. Halftone photos of street scenes include: Washington Avenue,
West from Broadway; Broadway, North from Locust; Eads Bridge; &c.
Full-color, pictorial wrappers. 6" x 9.5" Very Good. Pictorial Stiff
