[JAMES, Henry] DICKINSON, G. Lowes. A MODERN SYMPOSIUM from the library
of Henry James. London: Brimley Johnson & Ince, Ltd., 1906. First
published in 1905. Henry James's copy, SIGNED and dated 1906 by him on
the front free endpaper: Covers a little stained with a small piece of
cloth lacking from the spine edge at the front.
Goldsworthy Lowes Dickinson was a British author, historian, and
political activist. E. M. Forster, his literary executor, was criticized
for refraining from publishing details of Dickinson's sexual
proclivities, including his foot fetishism and unrequited love for young
