Consisting of 30 songs of printed music (mostly folding), each accompanied with a plate (a lithograph portrait) and (30) leaves of lithographed text printed on tissue paper. Finely bound by "Engel Rel., Paris" in 1/2 red morocco, gilt tooled spines, over marbled boards. T.e.g. Some foxing. Bookplate of French playwright Paul Gavault on both pastedowns.    $1,250.00 (trade discount allowed)
Elisa Launer-Manera (1804-1853) wrote the words & music for most of the songs in this collection. Very scarce, not listed in OCLC. The lithography is by Jacommel in Paris.
