Cont. paneled calf, somewhat worn, rebound in tan morocco with red calf labels, with the original front and back covers laid back down. Blank top margin of title page with a contemporary gift inscription dated 1702, discussing the receipt of the book, signed by Thomas Took.    $375.00 (trade discount allowed)
William Wake (1657-1737) was Dean of Exeter and later Archbishop of Canterbury. This book was "Occasion'd by a Book, Intituled, The Rights, Powers, and Privileges of an English Convocation..." written in 1701 by Francis Atterbury (1662-1732).
