Peaceful Veteran's Day evening,

We are pleased to offer this newly listed, apparently scarce atlas...no
other copies found on-line except for a very worn, stained one currently
offered on e-bay.  It was published in the middle of 1918 before the end
of WWI.

Folio (14 1/2" x 11 1/4") 148 pp. Tan paper covered boards with title on
front/brown cloth spine without lettering. Introduction. Table of Contents
with General Map Section. The Story of the Great War and Getting the Most
Out of a Map by S.J. Duncan (4 pages). Followed by 2 pages of Facts and
Figures About the War and Important Dates in the War's Progress ending
with entry for July 3 1918--"Over 1,000,000 American soldiers in France."
Followed by 18 pages of colored maps with battle routes lined in red.
Followed by The Western Battle Front: An Alphabetical Reference Index and
Guide to Pronunciation (19 pages), followed by 50 pages of colored maps of
all regions of the world. One page Alphabetical Index of Principal Cities
in the United States with Population and Location followed by 3 double
page maps of U.S. (general map; military map showing camps, naval and
aviation bases, forts; industrial map showing main industries & crops of
all regions). One pg. chart of Principal Countries Leading Productions,
Exports, Imports. Ending with 38 pp. index of Cities of the World. ****
Good- condition (wear and rub at spine edges; corners bumped & paper worn;
old tape marks on front and back; front and rear hinges started, but still
firm; paper moderately tanned; a few tiny tears at paper edge) No marks or
names; except for several minor smudges, clean and bright. An extremely
scarce atlas in decent condition, as this one is.
