Lord Byron: The Corsair, A Tale. London: Printed by Thomas Davison for John Murray, 1814. First edition, second issue; [iii]-xi, [1], 100 pp. Randolph p. 34. [BOUND WITH:] The Bride of Abydos. A Turkish Tale. London: Davison for John Murray, 1813. Third edition. Two works in one volume; 8vo (22 cm); full crimson morocco lettered and decorated in gilt. Bound without the half-titles. Binding with rubbing to the front hinge and edges, modest bumping/wear to the corners; occasional light foxing, most noticeable on the title-page of Abydos, a few small stains, five leaves bumped and creased at the top corner, else clean and sound and firmly bound. Neat penciled note by an early owner on the blank verso of the last page of The Corsair.
