portrait embossed in the front cover and a leather label stamped in gold 
on the spine; 446 pages. Introduction by Stella Gibbons. Illustrated by 
Fritz Kredel with 32 full-page line-and-tone drawings in five colors and 
12 miniature vignettes as well as portraits for the title and colophon 
pages. Of 1500 copies SIGNED by the artist on the colophon page, this is 
one of only 15 Presentation Copies with the publisher's blindstamp and 
in fact is the artist, Fritz Kredel's, very own copy with his initials 
written in place of a number. Monthly Letter laid in as well as a card 
printed "From the Directors of the Limited Editions Club." About Fine in
