PETRARCH. THE SONNETS OF PETRARCH. Verona: Limited Editions Club, 1965. 
Tall octavo (8-1/4" x 12-1/4") bound in half blue levant morocco leather 
with the title stamped in gold leaf and the boards covered with a beige 
mould-made Italian paper with the front cover impressed with a head of 
Petrarch drawn by the illustrator. Planned at the Officina Bodoni and 
printed at the Stamperia Valdonega by Giovanni Mardersteig. Illustrated 
with a series of graphite-transfer drawings by Aldo Salvadori. Copy #839 
of 1500 SIGNED by the artist and the printer on the colophon page. 
Tasteful bookplate of James Earl Beall on the front pastedown. Fine in a 
Fine dustwrapper and about Fine slipcase with sunned backstrip.
