With the imprimatur leaf before the engraved title. 9 fine copper engraved plates, one for each of the 9 "books" of text. Each of the books is preceded by an argument in verse, an engraved illustration, and followed by observations in prose and "a meditation" in verse, on angels and demons. There is a famous reference to Shakespeare on p. 206. This copy has one leaf mis-bound, but is perfectly complete. STC 13327.
