(T. Lewis). The Figures To The First Set Of Quadrilles. Newport, 
(Shropshire England): Printed by H.P. Silvester, and Published by T. 
Lewis, Professor Of Dancing, Nd, c1850.
A miniature book measuring 2" x 2 7/8"; pp; 16; original puce paper 
wrappers with no printing on the wrappers, no ownership or other 
markings on the piece; the first eight pages describe the "Pantalon, 
L'Ete, La Poule, Trenisse, Pastourelle & Finale"; the final eight pages 
describe the "Figures To The Lancer's Set of Quadrilles". With the 
exception of a 0.75" circular burn mark (probably a cigar?) in the 
middle of the title page, this scarce piece of 19th century Dance 
ephemera is very good. Quite scarce, OCLC Locates just three copies at 
the Clements Library, University of Virginia & the Huntington.
