The original leaf in this set is from THE ROMANCE OF THE MILKY WAY, 1905, the chapter titled "Goblin Poetry," found on p. 59 of the book. There are 17 lines of manuscript on the leaf, including a transliterated Japanese poem of 5 lines, its English translation and additional notes on the poem.   NOTE:The original leaves of manuscript found with this set vary considerably, some with just 5 or 6 lines of text.
