A rare miniature (4-1/4" tall) pocket atlas published for women. The pagination is a bit irregular, but this copy is complete with 15 pages of hand colored plates relating to astronomy, the meridians, and world climates, 2 colored plates (on 1 leaf, recto and verso) showing the Old World and the New World, and 36 double-page hand colored maps, 6 of which are world area maps and 30 are maps of France.
