THE WASP. Original issues of the famous weekly San Francisco political satire and humor magazine started August 5, 1876. It was one of the first journals that mass-produced color lithographs in print. All of the color work in the issues listed below are by Schmidt Label & Litho of San Francisco, with the exception of #1 which is by Bosqui Engraving. Ambrose Bierce was the editor between Jan. 1, 1881 and Sept. 11, 1885. All prices are net.

7. Sept. 15, 1888 (#633). (16)pp. 2 color litho plates and 1 double-page color insert. One of the plates depicts "colored men being forced to vote for Cleveland."    $75.00
