Bunyan, John.  THE PILGRIM'S PROGRESS, From This World to That Which Is to Come... an Entire New and Complete Edition... Embellished with... Copper Plates... To Which Are Now Added Notes... by William Mason. London: J. Murgatroyd, et al. 1795. 8vo. 2 parts in 1 (originally published in 8 numbers, then bound). viii,(9)-164;(167)-314pp. (Exactly as ESTC T 199531). Illustrated with 8 copper engraved plates (including a frontispiece), each within a decorative border. 19th century calf over marbled boards. Frontispiece with some old faded stains, and title page a bit soiled.                    $300.00 (trade discount allowed)
A rare 18th. century edition. The only copy recorded in the ESTC is dated "1793?" Apparently the copy (in Australia) had the bottom of the title page trimmed, not showing the date line which reads in fact "1795".
