FS: Six little Ernest Nister Children's Books

Six little 64mo books with 4 chromolithographed illustrations (and some line
drawings) each, and front cover chromo illustrated paste-downs, cloth
spines. Single staple binding. There is NO information such as publisher,
author, edition, date. Research indicates that these are published by Ernest
Nister and appearance suggests c.1880. Spine cloth varies (red, black,
green, brown. These measure 3" x 3-1/8" (just missing miniature). Nister
presumably printed these in Nuremberg, Bavaria.

Sugar and Spice

Merry Legs

Ups and Downs

Sand Castles

 

Condition is very good with some dulling to cover paper, a few with small
chips to cover paper especially at spine corners ) not affecting any text or
graphics, very clean internally with no marks or damage aside from some
offset of aging staples.
