Henri Cohen: Guide de l'Amateur de Livres à Gravures du XVIIIe Siècle. Sixième édition revue, corrigée et considérablement augmentée par Seymour de Ricci. Paris: Librairie A. Rouquette, 1912. Two volumes (complete); tall 8vo (25.5 cm) bound by Petitot in 3/4 calf and marbled boards, top page edges gilt, marbled endpapers. One of an edition of 1000 numbered copies printed on papier vélin, this being no. 645.

Handsome presentation of this important, encyclopedic survey and catalogue of eighteenth-century French illustrated books. Bindings with some rubbing and edge-wear; browning to the edges of the text blocks as usual, occasional neat penciled marginal notes by the original owner, else clean and sound, firmly bound. Front paste-downs with the engraved armorial bookplates of Ross Ambler Curran, early twentieth-century West Coast society figure and bibliophile.
