auspices of the Schuylkill Navy of Philadelphia and in conjunction with the
City's Celebration of Independence Day.  Philadelphia: Robert H. Agnew,
1941.  First Edition. (12)pp, printed in blue on white stock.  Details the
boat and rowing clubs competing in the regatta, lists the men in each boat,
regatta officials, etc. 8.25" x 4".  Very Good condition.

The Schuylkill Navy comprises amateur rowing clubs on the Schuylkill River
in the city of Philadelphia.  Founded in 1858, it is the oldest amateur
athletic governing body in the United States. This regatta included seven
other clubs from New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. Their homebase,
known as Boathouse Row, is the site of UPenn's Skimmer Day celebration.
