First US Edition. pp: vi, 418. Bound in contemporary sheepskin,
gilt-ruled spine with red leather label. 7.25" x 4.25". Very Good
condition.
The author, a female Quaker minister, traveled widely to spread the word in
the United Kingdom and on the Continent. This book is based on her journals
and letters. Isaac Collins, also a Quaker, and New Jersey's second
printer, printed this first American edition. Provenance: Flyleaf
signatures of John and Elizabeth Satterthwaite and Mary Baily. [Felcone,
