Islandia, and translated by John Lang, first American Consul.  With maps
drawn by John Lang.  New York: Farrar & Rinehart, (1942).  First Edition.
61pp; cover serves as title-page; four black-and-white maps on coated
stock.  Bound in printed cream boards, in the publisher's glassine wrapper
which is chipped at the bottom.  Prior owner's name in pencil on endpaper,
dated March 1943.   8.5" x 5.5".  Very Good condition.

Issued by Farrar & Rinehart to promote advance orders for Wright’s
Islandia, the tale of a fully realized imaginary country which has been
likened in that respect to Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, though more
akin to a utopia than a standard fantasy (credit to Wikipedia).  [Bleiler,
