Small 8vo (17 cm) in early/original plain wraps with early manuscript title label to the spine; 160 pp.; woodcut title-page vignette, head- and tail-pieces.

Scarce treatise on the "pleasures" of old age attributed to Poncet de la Riviere, Bishop of Troyes, with many insights into how to pass one's dotage without boredom, pain or worry. OCLC locates only 15 copies worldwide (some of which may be digital or microfiche reproductions) and none in the U.S. Contents toned, with occasional mostly light spotting, small piece missing from the bottom corner of the title-page; else clean and sound, firmly bound.
