descritta da Filone Hebreo....[CREATION OF THE WORLD by Philo of
Alexandria, translated by A.F.].  Venice: Gabriel Grolito de Ferrari,
1573.

Second Edition.  Two volumes bound as one. pp: (viii), 231; (56); complete
with 10 woodcut illustrations and more than 50 decorated initials,
printer's emblem on both title-pages. The first five leaves of the first
title have some insect damage with loss of several letters; title-page
laminated. Bound in old vellum, recased and rebacked in later black
morocco.  8.25" x 5.75".

First published in 1570.  [OCLC locates this edition at nine libraries
worldwide, the Huntington in the US.]   $450.00
