AND PRINCETON, NEW JERSEY, DURING THE WAR FOR AMERICAN INDEPENDENCE, IN
1776 AND 1777.  Trenton, N.J.: Wm. T. Nicholson, Printer, 1871. First
Edition.  pp: (ii), 132; frontispiece (original sepiatone photograph of
Trumbull's painting that depicts Washington at the Assunpink bridge,
Trenton);  original photo of Leutze's painting of Washington and his troops
crossing the Delaware River;  two lithographed views;  folding map of
routes taken by American and British Armies in the three battles.  Bound in
green cloth, gilt lettering and ruled borders on both covers; spine ends
worn.  7" x 4.5".  Very Good condition.
This is a much-enlarged version of Haven's 1856 book on the subject (Howes,
U.S.iana H307).   $200.00
