First edition; 8vo, modern half morocco and marbled boards, gilt-lettered spine label; [8] + 386 pp.; with four colored lithograph plates and one mounted photograph (complete, per the list of illustrations).

Chapters include: Southern Albania, Corfu Politics, Ragusa, Montenegro, Dalmatia, A Few Words on Northern Albania, and a final chapter, "Chaos," contributed by the author's husband, Viscount Strangford. Light toning to the first and last leaf, a very few small light spots or touches of soiling, otherwise the contents are exceedingly clean and fresh, firmly and handsomely bound. A nice copy.
