Bindings with some rubbing and soiling, chipping to the joints; contents intermittently toned, soiling to the first few leaves of vol. II, a few stray touches of soiling elsewhere, but generally clean, securely bound. A very good copy in its original state, untrimmed in the publisher's boards.
