1905 Cabinet Card of Horse-Drawn Drapery Wagon. Possibly Merseyside -
English.
An interesting cabinet photo of a wagon-drawn drapery vendor, with wife
and children, ready to fill all your draping needs. With a pencil note
on the back- “Monday September 4, 1905 - Rain Hill(?) 10 a.m.”. There is
a Rainhill in Merseyside, but it’s not completely obvious this is what
our otherwise meticulous recorder wrote. Wherever this was taken- by the
end of the day everyone was pretty well draped.
Cabinet card. 9”x7” [mount], 6.75”x4.5” [image]. Minor soil, light wear.
[44261] $125
