New York: G. P. Putnam & Son. 1868. Sm. 4to. (8),108pp. Added engraved title, frontispiece, and 14 engraved plates in the text. Orig. full blind stamped brown pebbled calf, title gilt on spine. Hinges a bit rubbed, but a very nice copy in the deluxe publisher's binding. A.e.g. This copy has signed caption titles and pencil signatures on 11 of the steel engraved views, apparently by the publisher, not the artists. Presentation copy inscribed, July 3rd, 1868, in French, by William K.
