A unique modern illuminated manuscript on vellum, with 15 large and small decorated initial letters in gold, purple, blue and green, as well as other illuminated page decorations. A tissue guard between each leaf. Orig. blue crushed morocco, gilt, extremities a bit rubbed. White silk endpapers.                    $450.00 (trade discount allowed)
Commissioned by the Directors of the Erie Railroad Company upon the death of Follansbee who was their legal counsel as well as a Director. A fine example of modern calligraphy and illumination.
