London: Henry Colburn. 1825. Lg. 4to. 2 volumes. xlii,498,(2),xlix,(1);(2),348,(2),vii,(1),(3)-311,(1)pp. Index. Illustrated with 2 engraved frontispieces, and 11 plates, and a double-page map. Cont. polished calf, rebacked, with the original gilt backstrips laid down. Corners of boards worn. Some occassional foxing, but overall good - very good. Bookplate of the "Colinton House Library" in each volume. The Colinton House was once the principal residence of the Foulis family in Scotland. On the front pastedown of Volume 1 is a brief inscription in 1921 from the owner of Colinton House at that time, T. M. Trotter.                 $1,500.00 (trade discount allowed)
