(4),87,(5);(2),84;81,(3);(2),"69",i.e.83,(1)pp. Very early calf, extremities worn, old ink annotation of authorship on the title of Volume 1. Some occasional soiling. 2 leaves, one in Volume 3 and one in Volume 4, have small marginal losses, touching a few letters of text. Still an acceptable copy of a rare piracy of one of the most famous novels of 17th century French literature. There are a number of pirated printings, all with the original imprint of Paris: Claude Barbin. 1678.    $1,000.00 (trade discount allowed)
