With added color title page; letterpress title printed in black & red. With 94 hand colored plates, with descriptive text, and with numerous initials and text illustrations printed in color. Tissue guards with each plate. A very attractive set in contemporary half polished calf and marbled boards. A.e.g. Marbled endpapers with two 19th century bookplates of Sir Thomas Tobin and Robert Day. Spines show light rubbing.
