[James Gillray:] A Voluptuary under the horrors of Digestion. London: Humphrey, 1792 [but later]. Large, hand-colored etching; sheet size: 20 1/4 x 13 1/2 in.; plate size: 14 1/2 x 11 3/4 in.

Gillray's iconic caricature of the Prince of Wales. A restrike from the Bohn edition (printed at full size and struck from the original copper plates), with later, tastefully executed, hand-coloring. With two additional Gillray etchings (uncolored) on the verso: "Metallic Tractors" and "Anacreontick's in full Song." Creases, light soiling and small spots to the margins, otherwise very clean and fresh. A handsome example.
