KOESTER, Emily. BOOK CREATION: HOW TO KNOW THE BUTTERFLIES. The shell of
a book (5-3/4" x 8-1/2") that has had the interior carved out and then
has been illustrated on the exterior and the interior by Koester using
the collage technique primarily employing images taken from magazines
and catalogs with occasional paint to create a work of art, SIGNED by
the artist at the bottom right corner inside. Emily wishes all to know
that she does not do this to healthy books but only to bring back to a
new life those that have previously suffered damage. This is a
particularly attractive example, especially for anyone who loves
butterflies. Near Fine. (#019705)        $250.00
