Later full calf, 8vo (20 cm); 24, [2], 19-232, 6, [2] pp. (irregular pagination as issued); engraved frontispiece, woodcut tailpieces. Griffith 224-7; Foxon P781; ESTC T5550.

The (first?) issue of this second edition with gathering P and leaves D3 and E2 as cancels and the note re. Mist's Journal on p. 190 with 8 lines; variant with one-leaf errata at the end. Binding with bumping and sunning to the spine; light soiling to the title-page, light stain to the edges of the first and last few leaves; browning to the 4 leaves of gathering P (a cancel), a few scattered light spots elsewhere, otherwise clean and sound, firmly bound.
