Original mock-up watercolor art for a birthday card on a piece of paper 
folded into fours (5-1/2" x 6-1/2") by the illustrator of CHARLOTTE'S 
WEB, STUART LITTLE, the LITTLE HOUSE series of Laura Ingalls Wilder, and 
many other children's books. The front of the card is an illustration of 
a painter's palette INITIALED by Williams with four lines of verse 
below. When the card is opened there is a watercolor of flowers on the 
left with four more lines of verse below and "Happy Birthday" in 
watercolor on the right, both INITIALED by Williams. Pinned to the rear 
are the typed lyrics credited to the artist's wife, Dorothea Williams.
