[Unidentified photographer:] Two African Colonial Policemen, possibly Nigerian or South African, in British colonial constabulary uniforms, including jackets and helmets, in breeches and barefoot. Vintage photograph (printing-out-paper print), 200 x 143 mm, [c. 1890]. A few scratches, light surface creases. While the two gentlemen's exact location is unidentified, their uniforms are very similar to those worn in old photos we've found online of colonial policemen in Nigeria and in Natal, South Africa.
