N.D. but [New York: Privately Printed for Augustin Daly. 1895]. Tall 4to. 57,(1)pp. India proof photographic portrait of Ada Rehan as Julia. Title and printed wrapper with portrait of Shakespeare and facsimile autograph of Shakespeare. Original printed green stiff wrappers preserved. This is a personal copy of Augustin Daly with his bookplate. This copy extra illustrated with 2 printed theatre programs, one for TWO GENTLEMEN OF VERONA (the Daly production) April 29 to May 4, 1895, at the Hollis St. Theatre, N. Y., and another for TWO GENTLEMEN with Modjeska as Julia, March 8 to 13, 1886, at the Globe Theatre, N. Y. Also, laid in is a 4-page oblong printed program of Sarah Bernhardt's performance of  numerous plays at Daly's Theatre, N. D. (circa 1890?), including TWO GENTLEMEN. Also with 2 autograph letters signed by Augustin Daly and one typed letter signed by Augustin Daly and A. M. Palmer of the Madison Square Theatre, laid in. A fine copy in half red morocco over red silk; spine gilt stamped with author, title and "Augustin Daly's Prompt Book."        $600.00 (trade discount allowed)
