Four volumes bound in two, 8vo (22 cm), in early/period half burgundy goatskin and marbled boards, gilt-lettered green leather spine labels; [ii], 298; [ii], 300; [ii], 296; [ii], 304 pp.

Bindings with some fairly modest rubbing to the boards and wear to the extremities; toning to the edges of the text blocks, browning to the (blank) endpapers; a few occasional light spots to the leaves, else clean and sound. Bound without the half-titles, if called for. Front pastedowns with the handsomely engraved monogram bookplates of Phyllis Williamson. Uncommon, especially in this "grand papier" issue.
