S. T. Richardson: The World's First Railway Jubilee. Darlington: Bailey [and] London: Simkin, Marshall, 1876. First edition. Oblong folio (37 cm) in original cloth-backed pictorial card covers; [84] pp., unpaginated, printed on the rectos only. Covers worn and rubbed with a few stains; tears to the spine cloth, which has come detached at the front inner hinge, but is still secured at the back; title-page with some browning and chipping to the edges, occasional light spotting to the leaves, a few corners dog-eared, else generally clean and sound.

Twenty-one humorous lithograph plates with accompanying text, published in celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the opening of the Stockton & Darlington Railway, the world's first public railway using steam locomotives.
