Thomas Moore: Memoirs of the Life of the Right Honourable Richard Brinsley Sheridan. London: Longman, Hurst, [et al], 1825. Two volumes, 8vo (22 cm), in early/period half calf and marbled boards, marbled endpapers; engraved portrait frontispiece and folding facsimile.
The Irish poet Thomas Moore recounts the life of his friend and contemporary, the playwright and Whig politician, Richard Brinsley Sheridan, author of The Rivals, The School for Scandal, etc. Bindings with rubbing and darkening to the spines, wear to the corners and spine ends; some foxing to the portrait and folding facsimile, a few stray small spots to the leaves, otherwise unusually clean and bright, firmly bound.
