Books, (1959). First American Edition. Early title by this English poet,
doctor, and novelist, first published in England in 1957. Poet William
Meredith's copy with his SIGNATURE at the top of the front endpaper,
below which is INSCRIBED "With respect,/Dannie Abse," with the poet's
last name crossed out by him. Laid in is a promotional photograph of
