David McKay Company, (1931). First Edition. Beautifully bound by The 
Chelsea Bindery in full black morocco leather with multi-color morocco 
design depicting Mickey Mouse on the front cover, silver lettering on 
the spine, all edges silver gilt, new end-papers depicting Mickey Mouse, 
Minney Mouse, Donald Duck, and Pluto (5-3/4" x 7-1/2"). The First Disney 
book and the first appearance of Donald Duck, though not as we would 
come to know him. Illustrated throughout in color by the Walt Disney 
studio. Minor soiling to a few pages; margins trimmed in rebinding. Fine
